I travel all over the West Midlands and beyond for my work. I take pictures when out running, cycling, walking. I see so much I'd like to keep a record.

We've travelled all over in our VW campervan - I'm not a photographer, but I hope I can capture just a little of what I see. Lovely display of orange flowers on the canal at Rushall. They are Crocosmia Spitfire and this years wet weather has suited them well.

I was surprised to see these ducklings yesterday so late in the year. Still the weather has been fine for Ducks! Rushall Canal.

The Tame Valley Canal runs right through Friar Park , Wednesbury. This straight run from Tame Valley / Rushall Canal junctions runs from near Tame Parkway railway station to Ocker Hill. With quality paths for cycling and walking this canal runs through the heart of the West Midlands and ends up in the heart of the Black Country with their heritage of industry.It’s far from built up and ugly with rich wildlife and plants to see.

Walking along the Canal in Rushall, we saw these lovely ponies grazing with new foals. Notice how the foal and mare in the fore ground have almost the same marking as the foal and mare in the background.

Spotted these Swans and their brood of four cygnets at Daw End canal near the Manor Arms pub Rushall. Further on a Coot fed two of its four chicks, the Coot is the one with the white beak, the Moorhen is the one with the red beak and is smaller.
