This old building with a tower, supported by scaffolding is a familiar sight to anyone travelling on the M6 motorway through the west midlands. It’s been semi derelict for years and yesterday driving past I took the time to go and see it. All closed up now the few businesses that used to be in the main part of the building are gone now and whilst the scaffolding is there the rest of the place is over grown.
I think this was an old school or something like that, it’s obviously got some sort of protected status but sitting as it does on the edge of the Motorway in the middle of an industrial estate I can’t see there being much hope of it being saved.
