This blog is ALL my OWN work , I take all the Photos myself. I use a basic Samsung PL 22 14mp camera with 5x zoom.

I travel all over the West Midlands and beyond for my work. I take pictures when out running, cycling, walking. I see so much I'd like to keep a record.

We've travelled all over in our VW campervan - I'm not a photographer, but I hope I can capture just a little of what I see. VW Campervan at the Rhone Glacier, Switzerland. 1991. This is a 1980 Type 2, 2 litre Aircooled Devon Moonraker GLS - one of the last registered at the Devon company.  Taken with a Kodak 110 Instamatic and scanned.

1985 VW T25 1.9 watercooled. Called the Vanagon in US and Europe this model is the Devon Moonraker GLS, the elevating roof sleeps two adults on full size beds and two adults can sleep on the fold down bed inside. It has a two ring gas cooker and grill, gas/electric fridge, 7 gallon removable water tank with electric water pump. With cupboard space and table, a passenger seat that turns 180’ it’s comfortable for four adults, can keep up in modern traffic cruising easily at 65 mph on the motorway.

I passed Volks Magic in Oldbury - they have spares for any VW , air and water cooled, Vans Beetles Golfs etc It’s a real treasure trove of unusual bit and pieces. Always something differetn parked outside. They also do restorations and have been on Sky TV . http://volksmagic.sik2k.com/index2.php

In the New Forest, US specification LHD Vanagon Diesel parked behind us. Obviously imported as the Y reg is wrong for year - it should be H reg or thereabouts. The exhaust was different too - a homemade connector to a non standard silencer for the 1.9 Diesel , it sounded very strange.
